Cricket

Sorry for the not so good pics. This horse makes capturing her on film some kind of miracle. She is absolutely priceless, she will do these wonderful poses when there is no camera. The very second she sees you coming with one, bye- bye picture. I have stood out there for long periods of time waiting for her to forget I have a camera.......no such luck.

This shot was one of the better ones....believe it or not.....little brat. Here is an example of how unhappy she is when you almost get her. This picture started out being a very nice head shot. If she could stick her tongue out at you and do the na na na na na thing at me she would.

This shot is the one that made me laugh out loud, I guess you had to be here to see the humor in it. Cricket could not get her head away fast enough. This would have been a sweet pic. of her nuzzling her buddy. The picture doesn't really show it but she saw me coming and tried to turn her head away so fast that she actually bumped into Skook and couldn't quite get all the way turned around, so I snapped it anyhow. Well folks based on these pictures you can now see what I'm up against ....and why I don't have the greatest pics posted. Of course I can't blame it all on my subjects though, there is still the small matter of my own ineptness. Well that's it for this round. I have to go catch my Moxie horse and get some arena work done on her. She is going into unchartered territory on Sat (AKA unknown bush) I really don't want to be left in the dirt so I must go get a saddle on her. Later. Have a wonderful day where ever you are.

Hey, I like that first photo! She sure has grown up! Are you going to do a post on your trail ride with Moxie? (Hint- the correct answer is yes!)

I am partners with a wonderful, incredible loving Morgan Mare. At the age of 20 she has finally mellowed, a bit. I wouldn't trade her antics for the world. I laughed reading your horses opinion of her picture being taken. Thank you for sharing. I forget now that Brandy is perfect, that she once reinvented everything to keep me on my toes, sometimes from the saddle. I look forward to reading more.

Karen thank you for leaving a comment. I am glad to hear from others who have a soft spot for Morgans. Please do keep reading and leaving comments.
